About Taulbee

Taulbee Jackson is an independent marketing and communications consultant focused on audience development, customer experience, and content. He helps interesting companies develop and deliver remarkable experiences to build, grow and monetize their audiences.

He is most well-known for founding Raidious, one of the first real-time content agencies in the world. Raidious was acquired in 2019, and he is currently Founder, COO and Principal Consultant at digital customer experience consultancy Science and Magic.

He also recently served as Vice President of Content for the Indianapolis Colts, was a member of of the NFL’s Club Digital Advisory Board, and worked as one of ten senior analysts for the world’s premiere content consultancy, Convince + Convert, founded and led by industry legend and New York Times best-selling author Jay Baer. 

Taulbee spent the early part of his career in radio and television, working for companies like Emmis Communications, ABC affiliate WRTV, and 92.3 WTTS. He founded the first real-time content agency, Raidious, in 2009 (acquired by ad agency Mortenson Kim January 2019).

Raidious was an early pioneer in real-time marketing, enterprise content strategy, social monitoring, owned media theory, and the “brand newsroom” production operations approach. Their break-through work on Super Bowl XLVI changed the way brands interact with their customers, and how they approach marketing in real-time, so much so that Apple did a case study in innovation on the agency. 

Taulbee and the Raidious team led content, social, brand, and CX strategy for more than 50 different national and global brands, including Walmart, the U.S. Department of Defense, Ingersoll Rand, USA Football, Angies List, Turner Sports, GoDaddy, Finishline, Bass Pro Shops, the Indianapolis Colts, One America, Equifax, Mercer, Mapco, Lids, Intuit, and many more. Raidious was featured on CNN, ESPN, Al Jazeera, Fast Company, NBC Nightly News, and dozens of other national publications. 

Taulbee’s 2013 book on 21st Century Marketing Operations, “The Owned Media Doctrine” is currently being used in graduate programs at several universities, including Marquette, IU, Purdue, Butler, and Ball State, where Taulbee is a regular guest lecturer and contributor.

He is married with three boys, including one Depauw University alumni, one Indiana University Senior, and one 14-year-old high school Freshman. Taulbee is currently working towards completing his Masters and PhD at Indiana University. He also attended the University of Evansville on a music performance scholarship, and is a recovering musician. He still does session work and live performances as a hired gun on occasion.
